Equipment rental company Ramirent will once again host the world's largest ski relay: Stafettvasan, taking place on Friday, 27 February 2026. Ramirent is a key supplier to several major events, and through this partnership the company aims to strengthen its commitment to health, community and team spirit – values at the heart of Ramirent's culture.

“Stafettvasan combines physical challenge with community, values that align closely with what we at Ramirent want to support and encourage,” says Jens Sjöberg, CEO of Ramirent.
Ramirent has signed an agreement with Vasaloppet to host Stafettvasan for two years and will be on site with customers and employees to take on the 90-kilometre stretch between Sälen and Mora as early as next February. As part of the partnership, Ramirent's customer centre in Mora will supply equipment for the event, which attracts thousands of skiers and a large audience every year.
“We're looking forward to a wonderful community celebration, where we get to be active together with our customers. And we're delighted to once again be trusted to help build this event,” continues Jens Sjöberg.
For Ramirent, this is a renewed partnership – the company also hosted Stafettvasan between 2015 and 2019.
“It's really great to welcome Ramirent back to the Vasaloppet family, and we look forward to working together again,” says Erika Christensson, Marketing Manager, Vasaloppet
In Stafettvasan, a team of five participants shares the classic Vasaloppet route. The community celebration is a central part of the experience, and spectators gather along the course at the well-known checkpoints to cheer on the participants all the way to the historic finish line in Mora.
