A more sustainable choice
Renting instead of owning contributes to a more resource-efficient use of machines and equipment. You avoid tying up capital in your own fleet, pay only for what you use, and at the same time gain access to modern, well-maintained products.
Solutions tailored to your project
For larger projects, we can establish a customer centre directly on-site. With dedicated resources on location, we help with planning, logistics and coordination to ensure the right equipment is in the right place at the right time. For machines with a total weight over 1,500 kg, appropriate training is required if you're carrying out the work in a professional capacity; in this case, excavator training is required. No training is required for private use.

General questions
Do I need to use a harness in all lifts?
There's no requirement from the Swedish Work Environment Authority to use a harness; however, personal fall protection equipment should be used if there's a risk of the lifting device being struck by another device or vehicle. We always recommend that our customers use a harness when working from boom lifts, vehicle-mounted lifts and trailer-mounted lifts.
What is PSI?
PSI is a safety sheet for machines, and the name stands for Personal Safety Introduction. PSI (which is the result of a joint initiative among the industry's machine rental companies through the trade association Rentalföretagen) aims to improve machine use and create an even safer work environment. The safety sheet isn't intended to replace the manufacturer's manuals, but instead serves as an aid and complement alongside the machines' other instructions for use. Users of the machines should be able to easily and clearly access the most important safety aspects and functions in several languages. The sheet includes a description of the machine's areas of use and the necessary checks regarding ergonomics, noise and vibration. When you rent machines from Ramirent, a PSI sheet is included with most of our machines. We want it to be easier to do things right and to reduce the risk of accidents.
What is the difference between a calendar day and a construction day?
Rental machines and materials used every day of the week, regardless of whether it's a holiday or a working day, are billed according to calendar days. Examples of such equipment are heaters and pumps, which must operate even on non-working days. Construction days are all weekdays excluding public holidays.
Where can I find a price list?
You'll find our price lists at your nearest customer centre. Ramirent's prices are market-adjusted and refer to either construction-day rental or calendar-day rental, depending on the product category. Our prices are stated excluding VAT. To find your nearest customer centre, click here
Do you sell your used machines?
Every year, Ramirent sells off thousands of machines that were previously part of our rental fleet. These are serviced and, more often than not, fully functioning machines that we sell. All products are sold at auction through either Klaravik, Ritchie Bros or Euro Auction. You can find our currently active listings on Klaravik here. We can sell timber modules and containers directly if we have any available.
